Nifty futures started around 20 points lower on the back of the premium contracting. However, in the second half, it witnessed decent buying supported by all major sectors, helping the Nifty to end 100 points higher. Nifty future premium fell and settled at 22 points. India VIX fell 4.7% to settle at 16.27.
