Post a gap up opening, the positive
bias was seen throughout the day. However, on the back of some sell-off
towards the end, the Nifty finally ended only 40 points
higher. Nifty future discount
widened
and settled at 13 points.
India VIX fell 2.6% to end at 16.72.
